    My favorite photo is the fountain in the Salisbury Cathedral, the reflection is beautiful, and the contrast is very nice.

    My favorite photo is your Stonehenge photo. I love the contrast in the light and cloudy sky and how it looks next to the bright green grass. I also love how the stones are in the center, drawing your eye immediately. Another favorite is the reflection fountain at Salisbury Cathedral. I really like this perspective and how clear the stained glass windows are in the reflection.

    These are all really good! The ceiling of the cathedral in Salisbury is my favorite photo. The lines in this is so pretty. There are so many geometric shapes and it is very pleasing to the eye!

    I love the Salisbury Cathedral ceiling photo because I'm obsessed with architecture and the symmetry in this photo is so satisfying. The vibrance used in this photo brings out the wear and flaws in the concrete used to build the structure, causing the photo to look dated and vintage. I enjoy how warm the colors are in this photo too. They make the church seem more inviting and nice to be standing in.

London's Tower Bridge is an iconic symbol of the city which crosses the River Thames. The bridge consists of two towers connected at the top by two walkways. I choose this picture as a "best of photo" because it is a landmark and also because of the color scheme.   If you are on your way to visit Buckingham Palace you may stubble across this hidden gem in Green Park. On the pathway to the palace there are these plaques in the ground showing remembrance for the late Princess of Wales. What I love about this picture is the contrast between the gold and silver plating. It was also a favorite of mine because of the experience I had when taking it. For the most part, the other individuals walking in the park never noticed this large plaque on the ground until I stopped to take a photo of it. Once they saw me stop and point my camera to the ground they all headed over to see what it was and immediately pulled out their own cameras to capture a photo.  One of the ...

Photography Lesson

This photo was taken by one of my favorite photographers Sawyer Hartman. I choose this photo for many reasons, one being during my time in London I will be traveling to Rome and visiting this exact monument; and two being, that this photo is all around an incredible shot. I love that even though this huge monumental structure is pictured, it is not the focal point of this photo. The young lady in the middle ground is what pulls your attention which I think is amazing given the structure behind her is so iconic. you can also see other elements of photography within this photo as well. Including the "Rule" of thirds going horizontal (bottom third is the pavement and grass, middle third is the Coliseum and the top third is the sky), leading lines (the walkway), diagonal lines (the slant of the Coliseum pointing to the young lady), and juxtaposition (the different between the size of the young lady and the Coliseum).
